We All Scream For Ice Cream...

Sawyer girl has a new favorite thing: ICE CREAM!
Last night we were on our way home, and she said she wanted an ice cream, so we just turned around and one! There is a Bruster's right by our house, and it was a perfect evening for an "cool treat," so why not? She got one scoop of the orange dream sickle in a small sugar cone and ate every last bite...to say she enjoyed it would be an understatement. She was laughing her head off and squealing with delight even as we were ordering it because she was so excited!
I think we'll make another trip to Bruster's in the near future...
Random topic: Sawyer is AMAZING me with how much she's talking these past several weeks! She rarely is at a loss for words, and she's now saying 5-6 word sentences!!! SO here are a few stories for ya (but more for me so I can remember later!)...Last night we passed a school bus while driving, and she hollered, "Mommy Look! Look right there! Its a big scoo (that's how she says school) bus...Woooowwww!!!" My mom and I were laughing our heads off.
Last week, Preston and I were playing with her outside, and she said, "Daddy! Right there..I see a big ugly bug! Ewwww...sick."
Today while I was turning on her Veggie tale, and the intro song came on she said, "No, no, no Mommy...I no like that part...skip it pwease (please)" She is a girl who certainly knows what she wants.
The week before last I was about to get her out of her high chair, and I said, "My word! You were a hungry girl!" and Sawyer replies..."Goodness sakes alive!" HA HA HA HA HA HA...that's been the best one yet. Doesn't that just sound like something a little old woman would say?
Okay, just one more...because this one is WAY TOO funny. Sawyer and I were watching TV, and this part came on where this little boy was screaming and kicking, and Sawyer turns to me...dead serious, and says, "Bad boy! Mommy, spank his butt!" Hillarious.
There are so many more, but I don't want to bore you to tears :)
I just think its so neat that we can actually have little conversations now, instead of me just talking at her. If she's taking THIS much now, I can only imagine what I'm in for this time NEXT year!
