Today, we had our very first open house since putting our home up for sale. Considering the weather was really nasty all day, we had a pretty good turn out! Three people showed up to take a look, and one of the couples seemed VERY interested. They are getting married in October, and they are looking to buy somewhere between July and September. We talked to them for awhile, so hopefully if there's no one else interested until then, we'll be hearing something from then in the next couple of months...we'll see :)
Sawyer stayed with her Mimi and Papaw today while we showed the house. They took her over to Barnes and Noble to play in the kid-section, and then to get ice cream! I'm surprised she even wanted to come home! After I brought her home, we got a chance to play for a good couple of hours...and Sawyer managed to make some fantastic artwork! Thank heaven for the new color-wonder markers. They ONLY show up on the paper you buy to go with them, so no matter how many other things she drew on, no harm was done! I could probably sell her little pieces of abstract art for millions...ha ha ha...
Tomorrow, Mom, Sawyer and I are going to go and have dinner at the Spaghetti Factory downtown...YUMMY! We have to run an errand down there, and it's one of our FAVORITE places, so hopefully Sawyer will enjoy it too. I hope everyone has a wonderful week!!!
